Guerlain's double serving of vanilla

After the recent release of Iris Ganache, a flavor of white chocolate and toffee, Guerlain continued the "edible" theme with another novelty with the promising name Spiritueuse Double Vanille. The perfume composition was created by Jean-Paul Guerlain, who is legally retired, but in fact continues to take an active part in the affairs of the House of Guerlain. He believes that each fragrance, as well as the day of the week, is patronized by a certain planet, and for vanilla it is undoubtedly Venus - a symbol of love. The aroma is described as a sweet liqueur that has aphrodisiac properties and opens with notes of wood, resins and spices. The vanilla seed base is accompanied by notes of benzoin, pink pepper, cedar, Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang and elegant incense. A bottle of fragrance with a simple shape is decorated with a wax seal. And that's not all! From 20 to 29 September 2007, Guerlain stores will be mouseed to biscuits created by fashionable Parisian pastry chef Pierre Herme and inspired by the new Guerlain perfume. Exclusive vanilla cookies are sprinkled with golden powder and flavored with notes of cedar and rum.
